But if he had taken warning, he would have saved his life. 

⁶  But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, so that the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any one of them, that person is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at the watchman's hand.

Islamists Attack Courageous "Mother Teresa of Israel" In East Jerusalem

(Israel)—Karen Dunham has survived many attempts on her life as she ministered Christ's compassion to Palestinians in Jericho and Gaza. Some have referred to her as a "Mother Teresa in Israel." Now she is asking for God's protection due to mounting pressures to force her from her ministry headquarters in East Jerusalem.

On September 21st, she was assaulted by an extremist bent on doing her harm. "The man ran up from behind me and with both fists hit me as hard as he could in the back," says Dunham, founder of the Living Bread International Church. She slammed to the ground, sustaining a fractured arm, busted teeth, knee damage, and bruises from head to toe.

The most recent attacks against her ministry began two months ago. When she returned from a trip to the U.S., Islamists had taken over her parking lot and informed her they had designs on the entire property. One week ago they tore off her front gate and front door.

Then they stole a privacy shade and metal security fence around their offices. "Without the metal fence we're like sitting ducks," she says.

When she called a company to replace the fencing, Islamists attacked the repairman and he fled.

The next day, a man with a black plastic bag walked by and began to pump a toxic gas into her offices, including rooms where they house orphans and young children with disabilities. "I can't breathe!" many of the children cried as they ran outside.

"We ran inside the church (next door) and they had filled it with gas through a couple open windows," Dunham reports.

"They are also threatening to bomb us if we don't leave," she says. One of the orphans recognized the man who knocked over Dunham. "He made a motion with his hand like he was going to slit her throat," scaring the child.

The police in East Jerusalem have been completely uncooperative, according to Dunham. She also talked with her contacts in the Israeli army.

"Should we give up and leave?" she asked one of the officers. "Should all Christians leave East Jerusalem?"

"No, don't go anywhere," he advised. However, her office is outside their "jurisdiction," so they cannot offer her any protection.

Children Among the 100 Christians Arrested During Sunday Service in Guangdong, China  200 Police Raided a House Church in Foshan City, 30 Still Detained after 24 Hours

09/22/2014 China ( International Christian Concern) - Over 200 police raided a house church on Sunday, September 21, eyewitnesses told International Christian Concern (ICC). More than 100 church members, including children, were arrested during the Sunday service in Foshan City, in China's Guangdong Province. As of the evening of September 22, more than 24 hours later, 30 parishioners still remain in police custody.   "We don't know exactly why they raided our church," a local believer told ICC during an interview. "The government does not want us to get together and worship as a church." Local believers told ICC that the church was raided without any warning. The police left behind a notice stating that the church members were detained for conducting an "illegal gathering." All house churches in China are considered "illegal gatherings" and are frowned upon by the government. Any believers meeting together to practice their faith in house churches risk being arrested. ICC has learned that though 30 parishioners remain in police custody, most church members, including the children, were detained for 10-20 hours and then released. The Mount Olivet Church of Foshan City, a house church with 170 church members and over 20 years' history, is located in Foshan City of Guangdong Province. Foshan City is one of the most economically prosperous cities in Guangdong province where Deng Xiaoping's open door policy was first implemented in southern China. ICC's Regional Manager for Southeast Asia, Sooyoung Kim, said, "It is unbelievable that local authorities arrested over 100 church members, including children, in Foshan City. Even though most people have been released, the experience has been traumatizing. ICC urges local authorities in Guangdong Province to respect its citizens' rights to religious freedom, that the government of China says are upheld, and free these innocent Christians as soon as possible."

Five men released after police called to area near Lucas Heights nuclear reactor

A GROUP of men triggered a security scare at Sydney’s Lucas Heights nuclear reactor yesterday after two vehicles parked about 100m from the front security gate.

The five adults, who were with two children, were interviewed by NSW and federal police for about 20 minutes after they were spotted near the highly sensitive site at 5.15pm.

Police quizzed the men about their movements, taking down particulars from each of them and checking their identifications.

After the discussions, the men were allowed to go without charge, with police warning them that Lucas Heights is a protected Commonwealth facility controlled by the Australian Nuclear Science And Technology Organisation.

But a police source raised the question of why the men — who had earlier been seen walking along a track near bushland off New Illawarra Rd — were at a location clearly marked as restricted Commonwealth land.

“That’s the most concerning question and explains why so many police raced to the scene,” the source said.

Nine News reported that at least two of the men, wearing robes, were seen praying not long after they had been stopped by police.

ISIS Religion Police in Nineveh

Iraq (MNN) — According to Reuters, ISIS has formed a new religious police squad in Nineveh, and Iraq’s Shi’ite leader says their country needs international help to fight what he calls “black terrorism.”

Citing a militant Islamic Web site, Reuters reports Nineveh’s Islamic State police force was created to “implement the orders of the religious judiciary.” However, other sources within the province told Reuters these new authorities were mainly focused on capturing “people they consider opposed to their cause.”
