RAW ISLAM 2014

So this is peaceful and loving Islam

No it is "peaceful and loving" this is what Islam is really about submission or die...

Christ and Islam have not one thing in Common despite what the Pope or others would like you to believe; there is absolutely no place of common ground. Thier God is not the God of the Bible their Jesus is not the Jesus of the Bible their Messiah is not the Messiah of the Bible.

A special note to the PC crowd watch this if you dare just remember when this lot get to your neighbourhood you'll be one of their victims unless you convert to their religion...

Chinese Government Relentless in Anti-Christian Campaign  in Zhejiang Province

Forces Christians to Choose Between Demolishing the Cross or Church Building
06/17/2014 Washington, D.C. (International Christian Concern)- One week after Chinese Christians in Wenzhou City, known as the "Jerusalem of the East", pushed back against government attempts to forcibly remove the cross from the roof of GuanTou Church, local authorities returned and completely destroyed the cross on June 17th, 2014. The Chinese government constantly harassed church leaders, threatening to tear down the church building if they insisted on keeping the cross. "Government officials tried to cause division among church leaders, local believers told International Christian Concern (ICC). "They forced them to choose between removing the cross and tearing down the entire church."

On Tuesday at 3:00 a.m., a team of around 30 people, including government officials and construction workers, arrived at GuanTou Church for the second time and cut the cross off from the roof of the church building. "How can you separate the cross from a church?" A local pastor asked in a recent interview. "Can you choose between a national flag and embassy building? It is completely humiliating and violating the freedom of belief."

Christians in Wenzhou City are frustrated and heartbroken as they watch what they say is the governments "obvious scheme" to curb Christianity and their freedom of religion. The current battleground is places of worship and the crosses that adorn them. ICC received a list of 15 churches that have received cross demolition notices from authorities just last Sunday. ChinaAidreports that around 360 church buildings and crosses have been demolished in 2014 alone.

In addition, the Chinese government not only removes crosses in attempts to curb Christianity, but changes the names of many churches into senior housings or cultural centers, according toChinaAid. Before Sanjiang Christian Church, the nearby 4,000-seat mega church, was completely demolished on April 28th, the government proposed a plan, "to remove the cross on the roof and change the first floor of the church to be a public parking lot, the second floor a public library, only leaving the third floor for worship," according to ICC's local contact.

ICC's Regional Manager for Southeast Asia, Sooyoung Kim, said, "It is crystal clear that local and provincial authorities in Zhejiang Province have carefully planned and carried out their consistent and methodical attack against Christianity and churches. We call on the Chinese central government to clearly express its stance on this massive anti-Christian campaign. Their silence implies either tolerance or complicity in this massive attack against the religious rights of Chinese citizens.

How the U.S. has failed an American's Wife on Death Row

120 Days in Chains: Meriam Ibrahim's Infuriating Incarceration

Cameron Thomas, Regional Manager for Africa
06/17/2014 Washington, D.C. (International Christian Concern) - It's been four months to the day since Meriam and her son's initial incarceration. While so much has changed, including the birth of her second child (a daughter named Maya), the United States' confirmation of her husband's citizenship, and the filing of her case with the Khartoum Court of Appeals, one glaring fact remains unchanged: Meriam Yahia Ibrahim will be put to death for her Christian faith if the world fails to intervene.
Sudan, designated a Country of Particular Concern (CPC) by the Department of State since 1999, has perpetrated "ongoing, systematic, and egregious violations of religious freedom" for more than a decade, according the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF). President Omar Hassan al-Bashir, ranked the absolute worst of all living dictators according to David Wallechinsky's The World's Worst Dictators, has forced Sharia-inspired laws upon the country's Christians and other religious minorities since his rise to power via a military coup in 1989.
A microcosm for the continent at large, the Sudanese regime is struggling to build a homogenous ethnic, cultural and racial state on the dividing line of Arabic, Islamic, North Africa and black, Christian and Animist, Sub-Saharan Africa. In the case of Sudan, al-Bashir continues to push the country toward a wholly Arabic and, in his own words, "purely Islamic" identity. To secure the support of gulf state financiers and the Arab League, al-Bashir, under the advice of Hassan al-Turabi (best known as the"Pope of Terrorism"), has harbored terrorists and personally funded terror training camps for the likes of al-Qaeda and al-Shabaab.
The Sudanese regime has also implemented Islamization and Arabization policies, under which al-Bashir has oppressed religious minorities, committed state-sponsored genocide against the peoples of the Darfur and perpetrated gross human rights violations, primarily against Christians, other non-Muslims and blacks.
After standing by as al-Bashir's proxy militia, the Janjaweed (a coalition of ethnically Arab nomadic tribes), slaughtered more than 400,000 innocent civilians, the U.S. and international community intervened in support of southern rebels who, for decades, had been waging war against the central government in Khartoum. That intervention resulted in the creation of the world's newest country: South Sudan. A state which is now, regrettably, tearing itself apart in a civil war divided along ethnic lines.
And so, the track record has been set. The Obama administration, with then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, recognized the Sudanese regime as so illegitimate that it chose to take an active role to "liberate" millions from al-Bashir's control. And yet, when that same regime placed a mother of two and wife to an American citizen on death row, the Obama administration has not only chosen not to intervene, it has actively impeded her and her children's release and safe relocation.
Meriam Yahia Ibrahim, a 27-year-old mother of two and wife to Daniel Wani, a U.S. citizen, was arbitrarily arrested and detained by Sudan's Public Order Police on February 17th of this year. She was later charged with and convicted of adultery. Being the daughter of a Muslim father, Meriam is considered a Muslim by birth. In Sudan, Muslim women cannot legally marry men of other faiths. Not only is Meriam's husband a practicing Christian, Meriam is as well, which makes her an apostate. In Sudan, committing apostasy, or the crime of leaving Islam, is punishable by death. And so, on May 15th, Meriam was sentenced to 100 lashes for adultery and death by hanging for apostasy after declaring in court, "I am a Christian, and a Christian I will remain."
Meanwhile, Daniel was actively pleading with the U.S. Embassy in Khartoum for help. The response? A mandate that Daniel and Meriam's children be administered a DNA test to determine Daniel's paternity-paternity Sudan's Sharia court recognized in its determination that Meriam's children are direct outcomes of and, thereby, evidence for her "adulterous" marriage to Daniel.
While unconfirmed sources have stated that the State Department may now delay the administration of a DNA test until after Meriam and her children are released and safely evacuated from Sudan, the U.S. continues to justify its impediments to ensuring their release and safe relocation. Despite remarks by Secretary of State John Kerry issued hours after a protest ICC co-sponsored took place at the White House demanding U.S. action, the State Department has yet to publicly confirm Meriam and her children will be granted legal protections by the U.S., should they be released. This needs to happen immediately.
Furthermore, President Obama, consistent with his administration's characteristically lethargic response to the imprisonment of Christians abroad, has failed to publicly address Meriam's case by name. As ICC's Advocacy Director, Isaac Six, stated in addressing outraged demonstrators in front of the White House:
Omar al-Bashir is waiting and watching to see if President Obama will take that next critical step to mention Meriam by name. The prison guards in the Omdurman Federal Women's prison are waiting and watching to see if the President of the United States himself will care enough to mention the innocent woman under their watch by name.
So today, as we stand outside of one of the most influential offices in the world, we call upon President Obama to take that crucial step, to address Meriam Ibrahim by name, and to condemn the Sudanese government for its unconscionable actions.
The need for the U.S. to take decisive action in ensuring Meriam's release and in stressing the importance of the respect for human rights and religious freedom is pertinent not only to this case, but to the plight of Christians throughout Sudan. Hundreds of thousands of Christians suffer an existence of religious repression, forcibly subjected to the dictates of Sudan's Sharia-inspired Public Order laws. They remain economically disadvantaged, treated as though foreigners in their own land, and in their own homes.
Just weeks after Meriam's story broke headlines in the west, Morning Star News published the story of Faiza Abdullah, a 37-year-old Christian who, in applying for a national identification card, was asked her religious preference. Professing Christianity in response, the officers present accused Faiza of apostasy and arrested her immediately. Her case remains outstanding; her fate is unknown.
Throughout Sudan, and throughout the Islamic world, Christians remain susceptible to arbitrary arrest and detention, cruel sentences handed down by Sharia-inspired courts, and violence at the hands of state and non-state actors liberated by their respective cultures of impunity. Without the clear voice of the U.S. and international community resonating in support of universal respect for human rights and religious freedom, the lawful persecution of Christians and other religious minorities will continue. Meriam will be but the tip of a growing iceberg, tearing through the protective hull of the global Church.
In address at this week's Global Summit to End Sexual Violence in Conflict, Secretary Kerry said, "I am also issuing a policy guidance cable directly from me to every single embassy and every single bureau in the United States Department of State...every diplomat and every officer at every level, in order to...advance the status of women and girls in all aspects of our diplomatic work." Meanwhile, Meriam waits to receive 100 lashes, per the dictates of a Sharia-inspired legal apparatus that specifically targets women, and baby Maya, a United States citizen, languishes in a Sudanese prison.
The disconnect between the promises and actions of this administration has and continues to fail to alleviate the suffering of those it purports to serve.

statement: PM. Benjamin Netanyahu: The three missing students.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued the following statement this evening:

"Good evening.

We are in the midst of a wide-ranging operation to locate and return the three missing youths. The three missing students are Eyal Yifrach, Gilad Shaar and Naftali Frankel.

I spoke with their parents before the onset of Shabbat. I told them that we are doing everything that the State of Israel can do, and even more, in order to bring their children – who are our children – back home. I must say that these parents showed admirable restraint and strength of spirit. In these difficult hours the heart of the entire nation is with the teens and their families.

The IDF, ISA and all the security services are currently engaged in intensive operations in order to locate the missing youths. I thank them for this activity; they are working 'round the clock. Naturally, I cannot share everything we know, not at this time; however, I can say this: Our young people have been abducted by a terrorist organization. This is absolutely clear; there is no doubt about this. They were abducted by a terrorist organization.

In consultations with Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon, Public Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch, IDF Chief-of-Staff Lt.-Gen. Benny Gantz and ISA Director Yoram Cohen, I issued the following instructions:

* First, to use all means at our disposal in order to locate the abductees;

* Second, to prevent the possibility of their being moved to the Gaza Strip or any other place;

* Third, to prepare all forces for any scenario; and

* Fourth, to demand that the Palestinian Authority and its leader, Abu Mazen, from whose territory the kidnappers came, to do whatever is necessary to assist in bring the abductees back home. This is the responsibility of the Palestinian Authority. We hold Abu Mazen and the Palestinian Authority responsible for all attacks against Israel that originate from their territory, whether this is Judea and Samaria or the Gaza Strip.

The claim that the Palestinian Authority is not responsible because the event occurred in an area under Israeli control is baseless. When terrorist attacks were perpetrated, and you all remember this, in the center of the country, it was the authority that controlled the area from which the attackers originated that was responsible. This is exactly the case here. The attackers came from Palestinian Authority areas and the Authority is responsible.

To my regret, this event underscores what we have been saying – myself, the Defense Minister and the Government of Israel – for many months: The pact with Hamas has led to very harsh results, results which are the exact opposite of advancing peace between us and the Palestinians.

All of the terrorist organizations – Hamas, Islamic Jihad and the other terrorist organizations – are committed to the destruction of Israel and they draw encouragement from this pact. Their personnel are constantly trying to murder, attack and abduct Israeli citizens simply because they are Israeli citizens – women, youths and children. They shrink at nothing and need no excuse, reason or pretext to do so, and they are indeed trying to do so. Over the decades they have tried to perpetrate abductions and, to our regret, they occasionally succeed. Dozens of such attempts were foiled last year alone.

My friends, we have all seen the terrorist base that was created in the Gaza Strip when Hamas and the terrorist organizations seized control there. Now, Abu Mazen's pact with Hamas has opened the door to a possible Hamas takeover of the Palestinian Authority areas in Judea and Samaria.

I have said this before and I reiterate it tonight: There is no possibility of talking peace with Israel while, at the same time, establishing a unity government with Hamas, a terrorist organization that aspires to destroy Israel. Those same elements in the international community that said that the Palestinian agreement with Hamas would advance peace now see the true results of this union.

Citizens of Israel, in our region, states are collapsing and coming apart under the murderous assaults of extremist Islam and the terrorist organizations operating under its auspices. Only a strong and united stand by the entire nation is preventing – and continuing to prevent – their victory here. Again and again we have discovered that we can rely only on ourselves – on the IDF, the ISA, the security services and on your strength of spirit – soldiers and citizens of Israel.

#RawIslam: Iraqi Christians Flee the Levant (ISIS)

Iraqi Christians Flee as Jihadist Group Captures Iraq's Second Largest City

The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) Takes Control of Mosul
06/11/2014 Washington, D.C. (International Christian Concern) International Christian Concern (ICC) has learned that the extremist group Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) has taken control of the northern Iraqi city of Mosul. The extremist group has been among the most violent fighting in Syria against the regime of Bashar al-Assad over the past three years, and now has once again attacked important areas in Iraq, bringing new threats to the already struggling Iraqi church.
"What we are living and what we have seen over the last two days is horrible and catastrophic. The priory of Mar Behnam and other churches fell into the hands of the rebels this morning. . . and now they have come here and entered Qaraqosh five minutes ago, and we are now surrounded and threatened with death . . . pray for us," Fr. Najeeb Michaeel, a Dominican priest wrote from Mosul on Tuesday.
In the brutal and overwhelming attack, ISIS took control of much of the city including the provincial government headquarters. Security forces are reported to have fled with very little resistance.
"When the battle got tough in the city of Mosul, the troops dropped their weapons and abandoned their posts, making it an easy prey for the terrorists," Osama Nujaifi, speaker of the parliament told a televised news conference in Baghdad.
"Many thousands of armed men from the Islamic Groups of Da'ash [another name for ISIS] have attacked the city of Mosul for the last two days. They have assassinated adults and children. The bodies have been left in the streets and in the houses by the hundreds, without pity. The regular forces and the army have also fled the city, along with the governor," Fr. Najeeb continued.
"Sadly there is a great lawlessness in the area due to a very weak and frail government unable to protect its people and especially the Christians who are minorities in Iraq and unable to protect themselves," Joseph Kassab, president of Iraqi Christians Advocacy and Empowerment Institute, told ICC.
Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki declared a state of emergency, imposed a curfew, and has issued a call to arm citizen irregular forces, hinting at the desperation felt by the Iraqi government, according to CS Monitor.

ISIS controls the majority of a vast swath of land, stretching from Aleppo, in western Syria now to Mosul in northern Iraq, and Fallujah in central Iraq. It is believed to have at least 10,000 fighters, including many of the foreign jihadists who have joined the war in Syria. While ISIS has been active in fighting against Assad, they have also made efforts to establish a state under their control. ISIS "quickly asserted control over the province of Raqqah and late last year declared the city of Raqqah the capital of its state," reported Liz Sly. They have implemented a radical form of Islamic law in the areas under their control. Originally launched as an Al-Qaeda offshoot, infighting among the terrorist groups led to Al-Qaeda distancing themselves from ISIS due to their extreme acts.

Iraq's persecuted and shrinking church has gone from some 1.5 million to an estimated 200,000-400,000 thousand over the past decade. Mosul and the surrounding Nineveh plains are home to many Christians and religious minorities, Diya Butros, head of the Independent Human Rights Commission in the Kurdistan region told ICC. With tens of thousands of Christians and millions of Iraqis now facing the threat of a jihadist group seeking to impose it's radical ideology by force, the international community must determine how they will act. The threat posed by ISIS raises the question, as Nina Sheaasks, if the cleansing of Iraq's Christians is reaching its end game.

The capture of Mosul threatens to further destabilize the region, and the Iraqi military seems largely unprepared to deal with these threats. "Having these terrorist groups control a city in the heart of Iraq threatens not only Iraq but the entire region," speaker Nujaifi said. In capturing Mosul, ISIS has seized weapons, Humvees, trucks, and potentially helicopters as well. These weapons and other resources greatly enhance the danger that ISIS poses to the region.
Todd Daniels, ICC Regional Manager for the Middle East, said, "We are gravely concerned by the attack on Mosul, Iraq and the danger this represents for the Iraqi Christian community. In a land that has already witnessed more than a million Christians leave over the past decade, we may see the extinction of the entire community. The Iraqi government and the international community must act quickly and decisively to address the threat posed by ISIS and to protect the most vulnerable from additional violence"

#RawIslam: Saudi Arabia

Religious Repression in Saudi Arabia
Todd Daniels, Regional Manager for the Middle East
06/04/14 (International Christian Concern) - The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia remains one of the most restrictive countries in the world in regards to religious freedom and human rights. Despite the fact that millions of Christians - largely foreign workers - live in the country, there is not a single place of worship. Saudi Arabia is officially an Islamic state, home to some of the most extreme interpretations of Islam. Those who express disagreement or dissent are regularly arrested on charges of apostasy or blasphemy.

The grave abuse of fundamental rights in Saudi Arabia, an American ally, should not go unaddressed as millions of Christians are denied the freedom to worship God, and millions more suffer under the Kingdom's harsh Sharia-inspired laws.

"Not a single church...exists in the country"

"Saudi Arabia remains unique in the extent to which it restricts the public expression of any religion other than Islam," the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) said in its 2014 Annual Report"Not a single church or other non-Muslim house of worship exists in the country." Churches are forbidden "because the entire country is a 'sacred mosque' for Islam's holiest shrines in Mecca and Medina,"according to Bandar al-Aiban, the director of the Saudi National Human Rights commission.

30 million people live in Saudi Arabia, and more than 30% of the population are foreign workers. Among those foreign workers, there are an estimated 2 million people who would identify as non-Muslims, and nearly 1.5 million are Christians, according to  Operation World. While not recognized by the government, there are also many Saudis who, despite great risks, have come to accept Christianity. Still there is not a single church where Christians can publicly meet.

The government employs more than 4,000 religious police officers to publically enforce the country's Islamic laws. The Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (CPVPV), or Hai'a, patrols the streets looking for any activity deemed un-Islamic. They are watching to ensure businesses close five times a day for prayer, that no women are mingling with men or violating the Islamic dress code. They actively monitor for any public, or even private, gathering of Christians. The CPVPV is known to regularly beat, whip, detain, and otherwise harass those who are seen as not conforming to the dictates of Islam.

Based on its interpretation of Islamic law, conversion from Islam is considered apostasy and is punishable by death. Two men who left Sunni Islam have been detained for more than two years on just the accusation of apostasy and still await formal charges. A website editor, Raif Badawi, was convicted on charges of apostasy in 2013 and sentenced to 600 lashes and seven years in jail. After his conviction was overturned, he was retried, and sentenced on May 7, 2014 to 1,000 lashes and ten years in prison.

These cases represent the continued hostility towards any ideas contrary to the state-sanctioned interpretation of Islam. Those caught promoting Christianity, distributing literature or speaking openly about their faith face the threat of death, lengthy prison sentences, public floggings, and, in the case of foreign workers, deportation.

Expatriate Workers in the Kingdom

Saudi Arabia hosts an estimated 8-10 million foreign workers. They are drawn to the country by the promise of benefiting from the extensive oil wealth of the Kingdom. While some are white collar workers who come as executives in oil, defense, or construction companies, the vast majority occupy jobs on the lowest rungs of society, working as construction workers and domestic servants. These foreign workers coming from the Indian subcontinent, Africa and Southeast Asia, have few rights and are subject to exploitation and abuse. In some cases they live in what rises to "slavery-like conditions," according toHuman Rights Watch.

Christian foreign workers face the added discrimination of practicing the wrong religion. To pray together, even in secret, puts them at great risk. The CPVPV is actively looking for these gatherings. If they are caught they face months of imprisonment, torture, possible sexual abuse, and eventually deportation, as happened to a group of 35 Ethiopian Christians in 2011.

The more fortunate expatriates may have the opportunity to meet behind closed doors on the compound of an oil company or at a foreign embassy, but even here they must be cautious. In May, 2013, a Saudi woman became a Christian and fearing for her life, eventually fled the country. A Lebanese national was sentenced to six years in prison and 600 lashes and a Saudi national was sentenced to two years and two hundred lashes for his role in her escape, Fox News reported.

Pressing For Change

The United States maintains a close relationship with Saudi Arabia in a number of areas. Yet, the current administration has failed to take key opportunities to speak up about fundamental rights and continues to give Saudi Arabia a pass on reforms related to religious freedoms.

In March President Obama travelled to meet with King Abdullah in Saudi Arabia for the first time in over four years. Prior to his trip, 70 members of Congress sent a letter urging him to address the issue of human rights. "The United States has turned a blind eye to Saudi Arabia's abysmal human rights record for far too long," said Rep. Trent Franks (R-AZ).

Even with significant pressure from Congress, President Obama completely failed to mention the issue of human rights and religious freedoms. This missed opportunity raises questions about whether or not these rights are a true priority for him, as he has claimed on occasion.

In its 2014 report, USCIRF highlighted that despite Saudi Arabia being labeled a "Country of Particular Concern" (CPC), since 2006 an indefinite waiver has been in place, requiring no actions be taken. At present it seems the same course will be followed. No actions will be taken, and religious repression and human rights abuses will continue to be the norm.
